Tension load cells are measuring devices that monitor and gauge forces of tension, which is the force that is applied within or around an object. Also known as tension transducers, tension load cells are a type of transducer since they are able to convert sensed mechanical force into electrical signals that can be used for measurement in applications including mechanical testing, ongoing system monitoring and as device components.
